going, going back, back

For the first time in my college career, my excitement about going back to school outweighed my anxiety.

I was originally wearing this shirt loose and baggy for the ride back to school, but my brother said I look "hella butch." That's probably because I'm wearing his old shirt. I told him at least my hair's growing out.

...Aaaand my torso is pasty.

So after having a talk with Jessie I've decided not to change my URL just because I feel self-conscious about it. Instead! I will own it until it's not something to be self-conscious about. (Fake it 'til you make it!)

And I'm going to resume posting.

To Sock? Or not to Sock?

Sandals or pumps with socks... Hmm. 

I've always liked the look but I never really tried it 'cause it seems like one of those things that look good on OTHER people. Not me. 

But I figured, what the heck? I'm The Shoe Girl right? Gotta try it out...

If I look like I'm concentrating its 'cause I am. These suckers are HIGH as heck! Look... They're almost as big as Stella! 

Got my nails done at Atlas again!!! Japanese nail art is so dang fun. I wish I could afford to do it all the time. So cute! 

It's my friend Julie's big 3-0 tomorrow (HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULS!!) so I got them done with big black bows on my ring fingers cause bows are her thing. And cause I knew it'd be cute. ;)

So what's the verdict?? Do you like the socks? I definitely think they're not an every day thing but they sure cute-y up these could-be-trashy heels. Normally I'd wear them with jeans or leggings (or "jeggings" if you must) but the socks sweeten them up enough to be able to wear them with a short skirt... right?

OH! And dont forget about my ebay store! I'm adding more shoes every day :)

Shoes For Sale!

Time to bite the bullet. I think I've been talking about this for 2 years now but I am SO lazy I just cant get to it. Here are some shoes I will be offering up for sale. They are good shoes that are in need of new loving homes. I'm running out of room in my house and out in the garage so I need to clear some space.
I'm an 8 1/2 and my shoes are usually 8's, 8 1/2's and 9's... there are a few exceptions, but now many.

I chose "fazedgirl" as my online identity when I entered my teens, so I, being fond of symbolic action, find it uncannily appropriate to let that name come to its end as my teenage years draw to a close.

Yes, this is going to kill all my internal links, my Google PageRank, SEO whatever whatever, and how deeply entrenched this blog is in search engines. But that's okay.
