GE Electric Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle - Concept Design By Misha Shevelkin : There seems to be an overflow of concept electric vehicles these days and most of these are aimed at the urban commuter who is the one who most frequently sues the city roads.
Not that we are complaining about the trend, but it would be real lovely to see a few of these actually hit the road sooner than later. The GE electric plug-in hybrid vehicle designed by Misha Shevelkin tries to integrate your daily commute and your evening walks into one simple all-electric vehicle.
An attempt to bring together the comfort of the bike and the leisure of the Segway, the plug-in electric vehicle can take you to your office past the rush hour traffic and back home at full throttle and then can stand up on two wheels to give you a peaceful calm drive at 5mph. Whether it is for the casual stroll or rushing to the important meeting, the GE Electric delivers with ease.(psipunk)
Offering carbon-free commute, there is built in Lithium-Ion battery that powers it on and also storage space on the inside that allows you to carry light luggage. With GE moving ahead in its attempt to offer more electric vehicles and also charging stations across North America, building on concept designs like these and improving them to offer on-road options would be a cool way to move forward… Both for us and the planet!

Futuristic Car - Avions Amelie A25 Design By Liviu Tudoran
Futuristic Car - Avions Amelie A25 Design By Liviu Tudoran : The Avions Voisin Amélie A25 is a design study of a luxury vehicle for the year 2025 that uses advanced textile material to change its shape and increase the interior space. The author is Liviu Tudoran from Turin IED.
Created by Turin IED student Liviu Tudoran, the Amélie A25 is a luxury concept car created for the French brand Avions Voisin, that produced cars from 1919 to 1939.
The car is designed as a mobile lounge, with a spacious interior that can be used to host business meetings or as a lounge area. Powered by in-wheel electric motors fed by Lithium-Ion batteries located under the floor pan, the A25 concept is characterized by the use of elastic polymer and advanced textile materials, which allow to change the shape of the car in order to increase the cabin’s height and available space. (psipunk)
The exterior design is based on a research for a new language made of “Latin volumes and shapes, specific for the Avions Voisin brand”.(CarBodyDesign)

Car Design - EALO Electric Car
Sang Jun Lee (24), Seong Been Lim (25) and Kyung kuk Kim (23), students at the Kookmin University in the Industrial Design Department, have designed a car that will not only cut air pollution but also rum smoothly on the road. EALO is a car driven by electric power that will help keep Seoul green and pollution free. With wheels that will help you experience a smooth drive, its organic silhouette will consume minimum electricity and help you cover more distance.
To avoid any bumpy ride the vehicle comes fitted with a fine wheel and suspension. Wheels have been given the shape of a branch which is light, flexible and sturdy. Minimizing the shocks are oil pressure suspensions in each split. Even when there is no air inside the tire, a second split suspension helps provide soft reactions of the tire.(link)
The facade has been inspired from the microscopic image of a bone. The holes made on it lighten the weight, reduces resistance and makes the whole structure tough. Excellently stabilizing the centroid at any point of time and place are the wheels and electric motors of EALO, that move together like a living being.(link)
The shape has been inspired from nature hence an added effort has been made assure it protects our beautiful surroundings as well.

Dear iPhone,

Please stop taunting me with your ads, bragging about your do-it-all apps. We get it. You've thought of everything we could have ever dreamt of wanting from a phone. You are like a crazy robot from the future that can read minds and bake cookies (those apps will be available shortly) Your camera takes better pictures than my digital camera does. Your internet is faster than my home computer.
But guess what- you SUCK when it comes to texting, so until you get that shit figured out... I want nothing to do with you! I'll stick with my blackberry, TYVM.

Who texts with one finger?? Pshhhh.
