Why So Big?

Ok so there's something I've noticed in the last few years that drives me INSANE! And now that I'm going to tell you about it, you're going to notice it (if you didn't already) all the time and you're gonna be SO pissed at me for pointing it out ;)

What is it you ask? Celebrities wearing shoes that are at least a size too big on the red carpet. Or blue carpet. Whatever. WHY?? 

Maybe it's because stylists usually put the outfits together and sometimes the celebs don't try them on until the last minute? Still, weird. Especially when they're wearing the same brands over and over again. Figure it out ladies.

Heel Condoms?

A reader wrote me and asked me what I thought about heel condoms.

Heel Condoms?? WTF? Never heard of it, so I checked out...

So basically, Heel Condoms is a pretty good idea with a really ugly name.
You buy these little shoe add-ons that slip onto the heel (like a condom... I guess?) and they transform your plain pumps into bright, fun shoes. I think a lot of them are pretty adorable, I just really HATE the name. I get that it was done intentionally, to get people interested or to shock people into checking it out, but it's really a turn off. When I think of heel condom, I get images of slimy pre lubricated latex covering a heel.
Gross.
These are so cute and girly! They should have a girly name.

Lets pretend like we get to rename the company. What would you call it??

Pohon Pisang Unik Buah-nya Muncul Di Batang

Pohon Pisang Unik Buah-nya Muncul Di Batang : Sebuah pohon pisang di desa Mallari, Kecamatan Awangpone, Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan, menjadi perhatian warga, karena dianggap unik. Jika dilihat secara kasat mata, memang tidak ada keanehan dengan bentuk dan tinggi pohon tersebut, namun jika diperhatikan di bagian bawah, ternyata muncul buahnya yang berbeda dari pisang pada umumnya, yakni berbuah pada pangkal pohonnya.

Peristiwa aneh tapi nyata itu membuat pohon tersebut menjadi tontonan warga sekitar. Ada yang hanya sekedar datang melihat karena penasaran, dan ada juga yang datang untuk mengabadikan gambarnya.

Keunikan lainnya adalah, tandan buahnya tidak turun menjuntai ke bawah, melainkan tumbuh keatas. Menurut pemiliknya, Ani, saat ditemui Sabtu (9/4/2011), saat tumbuh, pohon pisang itu tidak memperlihatkan tanda-tanda yang aneh, sejak sebulan lalu. “Namun saat pertama muncul jantung pisangnya, saya sempat kaget karena muncul di tempat yang tidak lazim, namun lama kelamaan saya terbiasa juga,” ungkap Ani.

Menurut pemiliknya, dia akan merawat pisang tersebut dan tidak bersedia menebangnya, karena dianggap suatu hal yang langka. Hingga saat ini, warga yang penasaran masih berdatangan untuk melihatnya. (kompas)

Meet: Luna - the cow can jump like a horse

Meet: 'Luna' the cow can jump like a horse : Well, that appears to be the case for "Luna," a Germany-residing cow who thinks she's a horse and behaves like one too. Schoolgirl Regina Mayer, who lives on a farm in Laufen, Germany, didn't worry when her parents couldn't afford to buy her a horse - she just trained her cow to ride instead, reports USA Today.

The resourceful 15-year-old spent hours training Luna and the pair now go on long rides together. Luna can also jump over hurdles. After hours of arduous training, the pair regularly embark on long rides through the southern German countryside and do jumps over a makeshift hurdle of beer crates and painted logs, USA Today reports.

"She thinks she's a horse," Regina joked. "When she wants to do something, she does it, when she doesn't, she doesn't. And she's often very headstrong but can also be really adorable."

At least she's cute to Regina. To her fellow bovines and real horses, the jury is still out, reports USA Today.
Regina said, "Cows don't like her. They're jealous because she always gets goodies." And the horses? They either run away in fear or, more to the talented cow's liking, they hop the trail and ride along with Luna and Regina. see more pictures after the Crash :0)
