GE Electric Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle - Concept Design By Misha Shevelkin : There seems to be an overflow of concept electric vehicles these days and most of these are aimed at the urban commuter who is the one who most frequently sues the city roads.
Not that we are complaining about the trend, but it would be real lovely to see a few of these actually hit the road sooner than later. The GE electric plug-in hybrid vehicle designed by Misha Shevelkin tries to integrate your daily commute and your evening walks into one simple all-electric vehicle.
An attempt to bring together the comfort of the bike and the leisure of the Segway, the plug-in electric vehicle can take you to your office past the rush hour traffic and back home at full throttle and then can stand up on two wheels to give you a peaceful calm drive at 5mph. Whether it is for the casual stroll or rushing to the important meeting, the GE Electric delivers with ease.(psipunk)
Offering carbon-free commute, there is built in Lithium-Ion battery that powers it on and also storage space on the inside that allows you to carry light luggage. With GE moving ahead in its attempt to offer more electric vehicles and also charging stations across North America, building on concept designs like these and improving them to offer on-road options would be a cool way to move forward… Both for us and the planet!
