scenes from a bus
Jeff and I went to The Refinery for dinner. Since I'd only had drinks & flatbread there with Liang, it was still basically new to me and everything was incredible. I highly recommend not only the food, but having the bartender custom-make a drink for you with your choice of liquor. I told him I liked old fashioneds and he made me a glorious concoction involving bourbon, brandy & benedictine, and something sweet and lemony.

unwanted television
Riley used to have a tv pretty similar to this in his bedroom. We played a lot of Nintendo and Sega Master System on that bad boy.

baby blue
Went to Steph's after work to watch the game. She made me pasta dinner and then Tams and Maine and Val came and we drank beers and talked over the commentary, like you do.

I left for yoga at 7:30pm and it was still light out! This pleases Gaga.

does not do justice
I failed to take a photo on the 26th. Probably because I was too busy downtown giving away eight dozen cupcakes in less than fifteen minutes!
On this day I was walking home from work and saw a fantastic, brilliantly red sunset. Unfortunately iphones do not do such beauty justice... and sunsets I feel are one of those things that are always, always 1000x better in real life than in photos.

snow in the streetlight
It snowed a little. Only in the night time, though. By the morning it was mostly slush.

13 December 10

Broadway & Stark
The street below our hotel room at the Benson. We spent the day shopping at Lloyd Centre, which was noticeably less horrible than the previous year, largely based on the fact that a) we had the granny cart and b) it was a weekday. Then we had a most delicious dinner at Pazzo, and continued boozing in the hotel bar. A group of old dudes bought us a round of drinks so we got nicely liquored up and then proceeded to raid the mini-bar in our hotel room after the lounge closed. Drunk on a Monday, awwww yeah.
