Alooooo-ha!

Hey friends!! I've been in Hawaii the past week for a little girls trip! It was amazing and so nice to be away from yucky cold weather for a while. Later this week I'm off to NY for Fashion Week where it will undoubtedly be freezing ass cold!

We were on Oahu, staying in Waikiki to be specific... and I must say that I was saddened by the amount of Crocs I saw on the island. I generally like to stereotype Japanese youth into the category of amazing and fashion forward, but that was clearly NOT the case in Hawaii because I'd say about 90% of them were wearing crocs. I wanted to cry.

Why the venomous distain for the brand? Well if you have to ask you clearly don't know me. I hate Crocs and everything they represent. See here here and here for past posts and further examples of my hatred.

Other than the yucky footwear, Hawaii was great and I'm now packing to get ready for NY. I'm excited to meet any of you who will be in the area so let me know what you are all up to. Is anyone going to any fun shows?? Spill!

Damn You Crocs.

I hate to have such a negative Friday so this wont be my last post of the day, but DAMN YOU CROCS! You've officially crossed the line. And damn you too, Hello Kitty. I thought you had higher standards.

See Moms... You Have No Excuse!

One of my gorgeous friends had some family photos taken and this one caught my eye. This photo goes out to all you moms that use motherhood as an excuse to get frumpy. GET OUT OF THOSE CROCS! You're going to traumatize your children and send them down the wrong path. They look to you for guidance and that includes in the fashion department!

This mom is NOT frumpy. I love how it looks to see a mom with a young kid wearing heels. It gives me hope for my future. 

Now I know I'm going to piss some of you moms off, but just hear me out- I'm not judging you I'm just saying that YES, it is possible to pull it off.

Look What I Found...

So in my attempt to "unblock" my brain, I was browsing some of my favorite blogs and various online shopping when I came across these hideous monstrosities. I never thought I'd find anything worse than Crocs or Uggs but I managed to find BOTH! 

The worse than Crocs are by Friskyshoes and take the ugliest part of Crocs and make them even worse. They're a cross breed of Crocs and flipflops with some glittery shit thrown in to make them extra special.

Then, there's the worse than Uggs. They're an open toed version! They claim to be for girls who get pedicures in cold weather... um, ya. Even better? The company that makes them calls them Bootie Pies. hahaha. 

More like Booty. These things are offensive.

So thanks to these two truly awful shoes, I am now in a better mood although no less stuck than I was before. Hey, at least I'm smiling now.
